Gifts of shares

One of the most efficient and impactful ways to give is by donating publicly traded shares to support our ministry to the persecuted and underground church.

When you transfer shares to House of Omeed through our designated broker, the tax advantages can be significant, and the full value of your gift goes directly toward strengthening our mission. An official tax receipt is issued for the full transactional amount on the date the shares are transferred.

Giving Through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

If you give through a Donor-Advised Fund, you can easily recommend a grant to House of Omeed.

House of Omeed USA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the IRS, which means we are eligible to receive grants from all major Donor-Advised Fund providers in the United States.

A DAF gift allows you to:

• Give strategically with funds you have already set aside
• Maximize tax benefits
• Support persecuted believers in a simple, impactful way

To recommend a grant, provide your DAF sponsor with our organization name and contact information. If your DAF provider requests any documentation, email us at ahmad@houseofomeed.caand we will assist promptly.

 

Cashless assets

Gifts of vehicles, under-used property, or other non-cash appreciated assets can be a powerful and tax-smart way to support persecuted believers. These gifts can often reduce or eliminate capital gains tax and provide an official tax receipt for the fair market value of the asset.

Wills and Estates

You can leave a legacy that continues to strengthen the persecuted church by including House of Omeed in your will or estate plan. With minimal legal setup costs and full flexibility to revise your plans, you can ensure that your commitment to God’s people endures for generations.

Your legacy gift can support a specific ministry initiative (subject to board approval) or be designated where it is needed most.
